What the Warranty Does Not Cover

Per TEXA’s published conditions, the guarantee does not apply to defects or failures arising from:

  • Insufficient maintenance or failure to follow the manufacturer’s instructions
  • Normal wear and tear
  • Accidents, improper installation, modification, or disassembly
  • Unauthorized modifications or use not conforming to the product’s intended purpose
  • Improper storage or environmental conditions
  • Damage during transportation or resulting from poor packaging
  • Third-party hardware or software components not supplied through the manufacturer’s official network

Software

TEXA’s hardware guarantee and its software terms are separate. Under §5.2 of TEXA’s conditions, the manufacturer does not guarantee that the software will satisfy every customer requirement, that it is free of errors, or that it will operate indefinitely.

Software subscriptions, updates, and activation are governed by their own agreements and are not part of the 24-month hardware warranty.

Component-Specific Terms

TEXA notes that warranty terms may differ for specific types of components and parts. Where different terms apply, TEXA communicates them in writing and/or makes them available in the reserved area of the Service Code program.

If you are unsure which terms apply to a particular component, contact us and we will confirm it with TEXA before you proceed.

Repairs & Transport

Warranty repairs are performed at the manufacturer’s premises or at an authorized service center, unless otherwise agreed in writing. Transportation costs to the service center are borne by the customer.

Transport damage is excluded from the warranty, so equipment should be packed to the manufacturer’s standards whenever it ships.
